in general, will mazda add ons work in fords? Ford and Mazda use the exact same engine, call it different names. also, my understanding is that the mazda 3 has a super similar engine compartment to focuses and fusions. Mazda is typically more performance orientated anyways...

Any idea what the difference in weight is between the FSWerks Stealth Resonator and the Race Pipe? I have the Stealth Exhaust on now but was thinking of swapping out the resonator with the straight pipe. I figured this would cut a few pounds. Think it's more or less than a 10lb difference?

I put on a Spectre air intake on my '08 SE and ran into a lean fuel-mixture, had to take it off. Do these intakes require performance tuning as well/is there a way to avoid a lean mixture with the Spectre?

dont buy anything close to an autozone brand filter... its just no good... try a k/n air filter, it will cost you a bit more but at least its good money on a quality product...

Has anyone made a How To on how to install the FS Werks cold air intake for the 2nd gen focus? Looking to buy one just want a reference to go off of when my friend and I do it.

It comes with instructions and it is super simple. The hardest part is removing the old intake but that is simply two bolts.

I don't know if I would go that far. It is much louder than your stock intake. You will probably notice a drop in mpg due to you flooring it more since you have the newfound sound.

I saw this question asked earlier in this thread but I don't think it got a real solid answer.
I just read through the webpage discussing the "stealth" method, and I don't see any real explanation as to how the stock filter media is removed. The photo below shows the entire setup, but it would appear as if that you now have two filters.

I just want to add that the weapon-r intake manifold will NOT fit 2004-2007 Focuses, unless they are equipped with drive by wire. Do not believe what their website says.
