Rear view mirror droops, anyone else?

My car does it too. Auto dimming mirror. My other car with regular mirror doesn't. So it seems to be an issue with the weight of the mirror I'd guess. Still, I just adjust it up and don't worry over it. Too lazy to get it looked at.

My car does it too, same mirror and everything. I attribute it to the heavy bass pumping out of my speakers though. It happens in every car I drive.

Seriously out of everything that could be imperfect in a new car, a droopy mirror is nothing to worry about. Why nitpick on such a nice car?

It's mostly heat that causes it. During the summer it happens every day. During the winter it doesn't really happen at all (usually).

Every four or five days, I have to readjust my mirror up. Now that I know others have the same issue, I will have the dealer look at when I need to have the oil changed.

Good luck. That's what I did today and they said they'd see if it could be replaced. I don't expect that they'll really pursue it for me, given the way the guy was acting about it.

I first made note of this a few weeks ago after returning from a 2 week business trip. I got back to my car that was parked in long term parking at the air port and thought someone must have been in my car but I couldn't figure how.

I really appreciate the OP for bringing this up and everyone else for chiming in. It's not a huge deal but I'd prefer that it didn't happen...

Same here, mirror drops slowly and I have to adjust it every 4 or 5 days. Not a big thing by itself, but when you add it to all the minor and medium issues I have, it's annoying.

I have the same issue, I think this is why it was dropped from the 2013

Because it's an annoying problem that shouldn't happen? It happens in my focus too, and I've never had it happen in any other car that I've owned. It's not the end of the world, but I hope that it doesn't get worse from the constant readjustments. If it does, Ford better have a fix for it.
