I'd also really like to see if they are matte or gloss as the photos might be deceiving.

I just ordered the PHillips lights. I've installed DRL's with 3 diferent sets of lights and they keep failing. All from different manufacturers and with costs from 20 to 80 dollars. Hoping the Phillips are better quality because all the rest suffered from vibration damage to burned surface mounted resisters. Good luck with these, I'd be leery of the quality.
No offense to the guy that did the retrofit with those in the link above and maybe I'm the only one but it just looks like such an after thought slapping them in the triangle piece like that. Even a section of them were sticking out. Ugh.

I SOOO want to stick a pure white LED bulb in my fog light and wire it to run FULL Time when the car is on. The Fogs aren't useful for light on the road much anyway and I think they would look pretty sweet being bright WHITE like 5k or 6k spectrum.

I just haven't pursued getting the SMD Type Bulbs yet.

His reasoning for them sticking out was that he wanted them facing more forward. I agree that it doesn't look quite right though. Plus he had the larger 8 light setup, I think the 4 or 5 will look much cleaner.

Looks like the price went down again. $129.05. I'm not sure why anyone would buy the phillips kit for $90 or $200 or however much it is. Kinda overpriced for a few LEDs that aren't direct replacements. What exactly do those kits come with?

Are those chrome trims around the LEDs? Not sure I like that. Also a little nervous about who makes them and where they come from. I'll stick with the Echomasters from Truckfancy. Reputable seller, 3 year warranty, discounted price if you look for it. (I got my FocusFanatics discount code by talking directly to Echomaster before I bought them). They've been on my car since I bought it and no problems. Easy install, pre-aligned, good module integration with the factory automatic headlights and they look great.

Didn't know where to throw this, but I like these (almost) vertical LED DRLs better than all of the horizontal / echomaster DRLs. I don't think I'll get them, because I'm gonna get headlights with built-in DRLs eventually, but they definitely remind me of the Edge/Fiesta LED fog lights - which I like.
