I'm going to put a lollipop in my exhaust before the tip, and see if it makes any difference in the torque curve on the dyno. I can get 3 runs for with wideband for 80.00 so I figured first run exhaust fully open second run lollipop half closed, third run lollipop in the max blockage position which would simulate a more restrictive exhaust (2.25 with free flow mufflers) We'll see what happens I just want it to cool off a little before I do it it's 110 in the shop right now.

What do you want pics of? have you seen my mod montage video with fly bys?

here it is if you haven't

and here's a vid of a aluminum can exhaust tip I found it after seeing sonic put a dp can up to his bumper. LOL it makes me cringe but laugh my ass OFF.

It has to cool off first. Dynomax shop doesn't open until 10 and they run a dynojet. By 10 its already getting into the 90's by the time Im off work its 108. The guy running it said that your numbers are going to be low if you run with this heat. I guess my tests are to.checkout restrictive vs freeflow so they would be compared to each other, but if i walk away with 2006 scion xb numbers Im going to need some prozac. Lol

Thats odd the dynojet takes into account for heat and Bero psi as well as humidity so even if it was 100 out then you came back on a day it was 40 out the runs should be the same

After all your chrcking one part to another so as long as there run with in say an Hr you would have an answer to the 2 parts gains or loss

I will have to concur with the low numbers despite correction. I lost 5hp on a dynojet on the exact same setup. The dynojet issued a cf of 1.01 (I believe) despite a 15 temp change and I believe an additional 10% humidity. I don't remember exactly, it is shown in my dyno charts somewhete, I believe..

That being said, the only other thing I can think of would be the LTFT'S. Even though it shouldn't matter, I had been through multiple tanks without the snorkel on the lower temp day, and had been through a few tanks with the snorkel on prior to the higher temp day. The base hp number was only off by 2 while the opened system was off by 5.

Idk, just spitballing. The Mk3 is showing a trend to taking multiple tanks to fully adjust after changes...

Depending on when meattooth schedules his, I might ask to come along and see his numbers maybe get mine on it too.
