Yepp. So last night I kinda started on the project. It took maybe 10 minutes for all that I did. lol I still dont have the wood so this is all I could really do. I took the box and everything out and zip tied the wires out of my way. I removed the carpet on the floor and the spare tire and all that. Then I vacuumed out the spare tire area. I left the carpet out. My friend has wood flooring I could use. We will probably work on that thursday or friday. Then it will basically come down to what I want to use for my system. I first need to check if the sub is blown. If it isnt, I will probably take the free route and cut the box in half and just use 1 10. If it is blown, I will probably get the exact same setup my friend has had for years. Sony Xplod amp (idk the size) and 2 rockford fosgate 10s. Punches I think. I was also thinking about finding 1 10 or 1 12 that my amp can power. We will see...first thing is first. gotta see if the sub is blown. I will keep you guys updated. and post pics when done!

Update: I bought new subs last night. My other sub was blown. We figured out the amo was too much for the subs. So the amp blew the subs over the 5 months I had them in my car I guess. I thought they would have blown instantly, but we were thinking maybe the power was just a bit too much, so they slowly went out or something. But anyways I got these:

So I know what you were thinking...sony xplods?? lol First thing I think of is walmart. But like ive said before my friend has had no problems with their amp. I checked 10 different websites and there is no reviews. Alot of them have been sold, so I guess its a good thing nobody went back and wrote negative. lol But im sure these are the correct voltage and whatnot this time. So hopefully these will work. I just realized I forgot to grab the wood from my friend...illl get it this weekend and hopefully get that done so when the subs arive I can put those in and be done.

Was your gain set to high on your amp? That can lead to them blowing. Or overheating. Etc.... :) what's your amp wattage?

those are alright. are you looking for alot of bass? all the pitches from low to highs? they will be good if you don't need super loud bass.

Yeah it was. Well lets see. lol My amp is an 1800 watt boss onyx. But its 900 rms. the visonik subs I was using (they were won at focusfest) I think were only 200 rms or something like that...

Nah. Idc really, just more than stock. lol 10s are more than enough really. I mean sure if I was a hardcore rapper maybe I could use more. lol But I listen to a bunch of different music so I have to turn down my subs anyways. But yea my friends 10s hit harder than my friends 12s....I didnt look at 12s only because my box is brand new and its already fit for 10s.

Oh and I got the wood last night. Hopefully I will work on it today and tomorrow.

my sony xplod 10 hits harder than any single 12 i've heard. and i'm only running 400 watts on a 1200 watt sub. i listen to everything too so i don't need bass all the time, just while showing off haha.
