And no, it is not hazardous, I have torn off the wall blankets on both my focus's, along with the hood one too. And many others have too.

I don't remember. Did you remove the lock? If so, how much space was there once it was gone inside the hatch panel.

I still need to go back and plan out my rear view camera idea
