2012 Focus Ford Racing Handling Kit
I know its been mentioned in other threads (And by me in said threads before) but I got a little more concrete information on the kit now as I gave Ford Racing a call for more information.
Part number as of the most recent catalog is: M-FR3-FB The kit includes the Ford Racing springs already available, Front Struts, Rear Shocks and Roll Bars(I assume its front and rear rollbars but they havent specified yet.) The ride hight is lowered around 1 inch, someone else installed the springs and although they were advertised to lower the car 0.8" it looked lower than that. I'm gonna assume the whole kit will lower the car somewhere between 1 and 1.5 inches. Theres no price on it yet, I have a few ballparks from prices of other handling kits on the catalog but I may be way off. The last thing I wanna mention is that I talked to some people at Ford Racing and they gave me a date on which the kit should be available, and thats August 31st. I'm already set on getting the kit so I'll keep updating this thread with more info and eventual pictures of the kit installation. Who else is thinking about it? |

What difference is it from handling pack on titanium? Would it be a marked improvement in ride and handling and not just a drop? Thanks in advice.

Thanks NRG_Zeal - Just want to confirm I've been told the same things by Ford Racing Australia. Quote from them "The expected ETA for this part is 31 August 2012. Your price landed here in Australia will be $1346.00 including GST."
Still not 100% sure on this or Bilstein coilovers/dampers. |

Very interesting. A one-stop shopping item for handling improvements would be nice. Seems all you'd have to get afterwards for complete customization would be adj. rear control arms and camber plates for the front.

Hmm...subscribed for interest. This could be interesting, but with the ST coming to market, I have to think bilstein would bring their products to the US as well. Or perhaps some adjustable Koni's?

Looking forward to updates. You didn't happen to ask FR about the M-7210-FO shifter, did you?

Glad to hear this is finally coming to market. Did they mention anything about what the delay is? I'm also interested in the shifter they had in their catalog (P/N above). There was also a roll-bar kit (front and rear) listed, but of course the Handling Pack takes care of that already.

What kind of shifter is this? I tried to google the part number but didn't come up with anything.
