The average sticker price of a Focus over in Europe is considerably higher because there Ford doesn't have a shit reputation to deal with. They are actually known for making cars worth buying.

Tell the American to spend 30k on a Focus and they'll laugh in your face. Hell tell an American to pay that much for a FORD and they'll laugh.

30K is low for Most of the Fords on the market, the only Decent equipped ones under 30 are the Focus and Fiesta, all the rest are over 30K... the Escape im in books at 31 (sel), the Explorer, flex, mustang, F-150, Taurus and a decent loaded Fusion are over 30K. Cars are getting more expensive here. Car prices go up and pay doesn't.

I am about to order a 2013 FOCUS SE and want to know what the interior might look like since my option comes with black leather seats with red trim. Are these the exact same as the 2012 black/red seats? And also, is the red trim throughout the cabin going to be included in 2013 like it was in 2012? There was red trim on the dash and side panels of the interior doors. Anyone know what this will look like?

Chances are it won't look like the Tuscany red package, as they still offer this at extra cost as one of the two interior style packages. No it won't be the same thing or it would have said they were making the Tuscany Red interior package part of the SE plus trim level. Chances are it would be black leather with red piping or stitching, although no one has seen the pictures yet since the configurator isn't available, only the order guide.

Like I said the higher price of Euro Fords is largely due to taxes we don't pay on new cars. If you look here on page 45 of the pdf or page 81 of the webpage you can see that a Focus including taxes is generally 3000-7000 Euros more than one without taxes depending on country. Denmark btw looks to be super high in taxes: 13604 Euros base Focus price but 36289 w/ taxes. These countries have taxes based on the size of the engine and the amount of CO2 produced and more. Without these taxes they're fairly similar to the prices paid here.
