detailed 2010 & and a 2012 Fiesta side by side

So my GF who got a 2012 Fiesta about a week after I got my 2012 Focus was complaining because hers wasn't as shinny as mine.

Mom who has a 2010 focus has been complaining because about 6 months ago the house next door burned down and since then has found tons of black marks she contributes to "damage from hot ashes." I was a bit surprised when though when the dealer didn't want to even touch it for a cost when she took it up there and pointed out all sorts of issues. the homeowners hasn't declared anything because according to them the fire is still under investigation. (whole thing is kind of sketchy.)

I got sick of hearing it so I went out and got some polish, wax, a couple clay bars, and some 3M tar& adhesiveness remover. I really wish I had taken more photos of the focus 10' before hand. Hadn't really thought about it because hopes weren't high.

Needless to say 8 hours (a sandwich and like 9 bottles of water) later both cars clayed polished and waxed. Almost everything came out during claying on the Focus. What didn't sure as hell came off with the 3M remover. I couldn't be more happier and I both of them are pretty happy.

sorry photos aren't a bit clearer, was getting late and using the iphone.
