I slept majority of the day since I worked last night. But I did enjoy some sirloin and fireworks with the significant other & his fam. Wasn't too bad.

Wasn't too bad. These overnights have been crazy. I'm so tired of them. I feel like all I do is sleep and go to work. But then I feel like I haven't slept in days.. It sounds weird, but that's how I feel. ):

I just want a normal job!!!

yeah, they say that no matter how much you do it your body never really gets used to working overnight. I'm lucky I don't have to do that, I just have long days all the time. an 8 hour day is short for me. I usually work 12+ hours. tuesday i did almost 18 hours. flew to chicago in the morning to work then flight back scheduled at 705 was delayed til 1010. didn't get back home til just after midnight (left in the morning at 630).

Well the sad thing is the overnight shift isn't my normal shift. I usually only work that every other weekend.

I did that for two years working in a hospital pharmacy; never could get used to it - I was tired all the time. Thankfully, I landed a career where I'm now in management and completely happy!

Coming back from the farm at 2:30am (4th party). Stopped at the McD's in St. James (MO). The lot is suitable for pickup trucks only. I seriously bent the drivers side front splitter. It's all straightened out now, but I have to repaint the whole thing(which means sanding,priming,sanding,priming,filling,priming,sanding,priming,painting,painting,clear,clear,clear,clear,buffing). The rear valance is done, but I don't want to mount it without the front air dam assembly. Ignore me. Just whining!
