No stripes at all would look better.

Maybe.. maybe if you had a V8 swapped Focus. Or even a V6.

But on a stock 2.0 Focus? Ick. But.. that's just my opinion. Tis YOUR car after all..

forgive my ignorance but why do so many people put stripes on the fenders? is there a meaning to it?hope this doesn't make me sound like a jerk because its a legit question

The fender stripes are known as FIA stripes. They were first used on a Cobra (CSX2128) at the 1963 Sebring FIA race. The stripes were painted on 2128 to distinguish it form the other team Cobras (all black painted body's) that were racing. The color chosen for 2128 was yellow. Although most people think that they are a Chevy thing because they are most recognized on the Corvette grand sports from 96.

I did it to add a little character to that car, and make it stand out a little. Carrol Shelby used them on his mustangs.

Looks better on the Focus than that Mustang. I think I like them on earlier Focus better, bit its only plastic dip, so no harm, no foul.

Yea I don't like the corvette strips on anything. The point of the original strips was so the tree could see the fender on a white corvette grand sport at the drag strip.
