I Give Up!!
The clunk and rattle in the front of my Fofoti got the best of me. Bought my 2012 Titanium in December. After four visits to the dealer about this noise I'd finally had enough. The dealer finally fixed the noise. After getting my car back I drove to the Honda dealer and traded my Focus Titanium for a CR-V. The noise turned out to be defective front strut mounts. Good luck to the rest of you, brothers.

I guess I don't understand why you would get rid of it after it was fixed...but good luck in your future endeavors.

Because he already had enough prior to it being fixed?
He probably got more for the trade after it was fixed than if he took it in and the dealer noticed there was something wrong.

Sorry, I don't get it. noise aside, my 5speed Focus is a great car, a few little bugs won't deter me from keeping it. If you have problems with it, and you have it in the shop 3 times for the same problem, JUST LEMON LAW IT... why take a loss, make them pay you all u got in it and take the car. DUH, seems like a no-brainer to me

This happened to me as well, so I can sympathize. I bought a 2002 Altima 3.5SE and I firmly believe it spent more time in the shop than it did in my garage. At 19,000 miles, it had gone through two new sets of struts, a painful (dealer's fault, really) TSB fix of the ECU which kept cutting power during hard acceleration and forgetting to EVER give it back, and a 3rd gear synchro that kept it up on a lift for a total of 22 days and 2 attempts to fix it. Repairing that car became an odyssey that I lost interest in continuing, so before Trophy Nissan even got the transmission back in the car (the second time), I had worked a deal to trade it for a Mazda 3. Sometimes, enough is enough. I feel your pain, bro....I just hope you didn't get raped too badly on the trade.
