Trying not to. I do have the Gi bill which helps out but doesn't help much as far as books go. They split up a certain amount over two semesters but only covers a fraction of the total cost. Then I have to take certain courses towards a degree or they won't cover the tuition or fees. Then other classes they will cover tuition but not the fees. It's a mess for me now because I finished up all of my prerequisites for the program I wanted to go into but didn't get accepted which killed me. So now I am out of classes to take that they will cover. I don't want to use it all up on classes I don't need. Which I am already doing this semester other than my physics class. I busted my ass for a year took 7 classes my first semester just to be able to finish the prerequisites in time to apply. I have an overall 3.9 GPA and because of the one B I have, I didn't get accepted. So now I have to wait a year or apply to another program but the school changed all of their prerequisites for healthcare field and now half of my classes don't even count towards anything. After this semester I will have over 50+ credits. I have one more other option to apply to but now I have to pay for the class to retake it because I already passed it with a B. So I got denied, found out my funds are being held by the school, turbo drain flange I ordered doesn't fit my turbo all in the same day.

Timing just sucks and just have to figure out what my next move is. Probably going to take a break from school for a while until I can apply again. Try and find some work somewhere. I was a bartender for a long time but the hours don't exactly work too well with a family. That was the whole reason I stopped working and started going to school to better my family in the long run. Took a huge pay cut by going to school but wifey was not happy when I was bartending. Just got to figure my next move.

Well it has been a while since I've been on here and sorry for that. My build is not dead just on a temporary hold. That's life, we all have had something come up unexpected at one point in our lives. But as an update, I have intercooler and and piping, a new downpipe flange, new water banjos and oil drain flange for turbo and for oil pan. Just trying to save up again for my tune from Tom. (Sorry Tom for the delays man) Just patiently waiting so I can get this finished up. Ready for boost! I'll post up some pictures soon.

Sorry to all for the lack of updates on this build. Things were put on hold but I am hoping to have everything completed by mid October-November at the latest. Tom, I'll be hitting you up soon. As far as an update goes, I mapped out the intercooler piping. I haven't test fit it on the car yet but should work out fine. I went off of Jgrove's build thread for a reference. And as he said, I plan on switching out the couplers or actually getting the piping welded once I get everything finished up. For now I will settle with Black and Blue.

Still trying to find a shop locally to build a downpipe.

Glad to see you're back on track. How is your turbo oriented? That hot-side piping doesn't look like it would reach if the compressor housing is on the driver's side. It looks like it is for a turbo that is oriented like I have mine, with the compressor housing on the passenger's side.

Right now I have it on the driver side. I have some other bends so once I test fit it, I'll see how close it comes and go from there. Getting a downpipe made has been a pain. Might have to mail you my manifold and flanges.

Trying, believe me. Probably gonna get a wideband and Mafia on the first. Then October I'll pay Tom for the xcal and the tune. Finish up all the last minute stuff. I'm going to the junk yard this week to get an oil pan off an 09 and get my bung welded on for the return. Probbably gonna buy the block off it to build a motor later on.Ready to get going.
