H&R. I think the offset is just right for a DD. I could have went further out, but this allows me full travel (loaded or unloaded) without any rubbing. I could have went 10mm in the front, but then the front would have stuck out more than the rear. I understand that sometimes a wider front track is desired for handling, but now my car has even front and rear tracks and I have seen no negative effects. Plus my tires set in the fenders so much better now. Really makes my car stand out from other Foci.

Looks good! I see they kept the rake (at least as far as we can tell until you get a chance to drive it and see them settle).
Looks nice an livable. I bet it will be insane in the corners.

Yea, and 5mm did not require a stud change. I checked. Also, I did a lot of measuring before I made my final decision on what sizes to get, so I assure you I took a lot into account (including the stock front and rear track specs).

I am less curious about a before pic than I am about whether the vehicle gets any mileage put on it, or whether the posted pic was taken relatively quickly after the install was done. Settling can contribute a lot to the final stance. I think that if the final measured drop is indeed 1", Steeda will have an outstanding product. If I would have known that something was coming out that was greater than my Pro-Kit's .8" but less than the 1.5", then I would have been on that bandwagon.

While taking the strut off tried moving out of the way and when I went to pull the strut it popped the top of the end link out so now I have a front end clunk when going over bumps

I still feel like there's a decent wheel gap, and that it doesn't look that much different than stock. But my Focus is on the 17"s, so maybe that's throwing my perception off? And pics don't always do it justice (hard to compare the angle that you took the pic at to the angle that I look at my car in real life). Anyway, looks good - and the important thing is the handling anyway. Congrats.

M-FR3-FB. But really from everything I've seen (WSM) these will be fine along with many other aftermarket parts from the US - intakes exhausts wheels bezels :) I'm willing to test a set of Steedas on a Euro Ti with the sport tuned handling cough cough hint hint. JK |
