I know if I hammer a corner too hard in my SE Sport, it drops engine power.... did it the other day hope when I get the bars it won't

I wonder if that isn't the ESC kicking in and applying brakes that would make it feel like less power. I haven't pushed mine hard enough to activate ESC, under steer, over steer, tire squeal or anything else. Gotta do that.

The trick is to attack the corner a little slower, and apply throttle to pull you out. Or, carry momentum into the turn, without overcooking the front tires, and you can get a healthy dose of TLO (throttle lift oversteer) with minimal ESC intervention.

I can attest to that. I may have taken a turn going way too fast (someone was tailgating me ). When I let off the throttle, all the weight shifted to the front and my rear tires squealed a little. It was fun, but I think I pooped my pants a little…

EDIT: This was in the summer with my 18" tires. Obviously, you should slow down before you turn during winter!

Finally joined the ranks and installed the Steeda rear swaybar. I remember reading this thread about everyone's solution for future squeaks. Well here is mine.

Look like Energy Suspension poly? Nope. Just what came with the bar. I drilled and tapped a hole for a grease fitting, and then took a cutter bit with my Dremel and ground a grease groove all the way around the inside like Energy Suspension does.

Were you the one that made a thread for this idea a while back?

I know I saw one and meant to find it to ask about updates, but I'd forgotten about it until now.

It's a great idea, as mine are starting to squeak again and I'd REALLY rather not have a repeat of my Accord where I was regreasing every month or two.

Unfortunately the Teflon tape trick doesn't work well with the Steeda RSB because it shifts back and forth due to Steeda placing the blocking rings too close together. It just rips the tape up after a while.
