Brand new car, when to wax?

I'm thinking I'll just use my meguires polish and sealant and top it off with some nice wax.

I pick up the Titanium today. I don't think sealing is needed. I'll wash, clay and wax.
Zaino is the product of choice...wax on wax off...easy, no residue and lasts forever.
Supposed to rain this weekend in the desert...I'll be washing next week too...oh well.

Zaino Z2pro and Z5pro are sealants.

Cant speak for my focus, but on my mustang (like five years back now *sob*) I used the mothers 3-stage, no clay bar (was before clay bar became popular), and it came out looking smooth as glass (to my untrained, tho sometimes neurotically obsessed eye)...

being the old guy here, i am retired and wax our cars every week. i know this is excessive, but i have the time. i am handicapped due to strokes. i cannot drive, but i love cars, so that is what i choose to do. boy, they do look good. 2011 red kia forte and 2002 blue ford focus. i care mostly about appearance. all the stretching, etc, is good rehab. i love optimum products.

I have 2000 miles on my 2013 se hatchback. It's Oxford white and I'm finding those small "rail dust" rust spots in the rear. The clay bar will remove these correct? I've never clayed, waxed, or applied sealant before. Can someone give tips on the clay barring? Someone posted, "gentle".

You spray lots of lube on a panel. Quick detailer works as lube or you can make your own using car wash soap and water in a spray bottle. Then you rub the clay gently on the panel in straight lines sweeping back and forth. You'll feel the bar picking up little contaminants and junk. You'll see it on the bar too. That's it!
