Tires on hold for now, I think I will wait until I'm finish installing above / do more research. Also, I was not able to find 20mm rear bushings w/ zerk fittings for the rear sway bar, only 20.5 mm, but they seem to be in good shape, so I will hold off.

ok question that clicking noise does it sound like a heatshield rattle kinda sound as you drive over some bumps? i replaced my sway bar end links and still get a rattle kinda sound lol...also damn you and ur moog for only $17+ lmao if it wasnt for the short notice i pb would have looked more lol

No need for greasable bushings just use the right grease to start and you'll never need to lube again

I use Mobile 1 SPH-1000 and re-grease with my oil change intervals if applicable (between 10-15k).

It is the sway bar bushings for sure, while on the lift I grabbed on the bar rocked it fore/aft left/right and was able to recreate the noise. The links are probably ok, I had the dealer replace them @ 22k (warranty) because they were clicking, but since I am "in the neighborhood" I thought it would be a good idea.

I am paying for the Moog name I'm sure. In hindsight, I could have picked up master pro at O'reilly's for $25.00 vs $50.00 and still have gotten a quality product.

so how hard would it be to change them out with out a lift and could you do it with out taking the end links off and the tires cuse i got blocks i can just drive up on lol??

Well, I made a mistake. If I read correctly the M-18000-ZX3B dampers while spec'ed for 06-07 focus should fit on the 08-11 focus. What I did wrong, was I bought the 08-11 (H&R P/N 51662) springs. In this spring set the front springs go down to a 4" coil on both ends, but the M-18000-ZX3B front struts have pockets spaced for ~6" coils on both ends. To fix this I believe that I should return the H&R P/N 51662 and go with H&R P/N 51666 that is made for the 06-07 focus.

Any thoughts?

Even with this fix, I haven't been able to find any data about how the H&R spring rates compare to the M-5560-ZX3B springs that have been discontinued but I'll find out when I drive it. Ahh, details...

dont use that seat. that is for the 06-07 spring. use the seat that comes with your car which looks like this.



and end up like the one on the right. the one on the left is the one with the 06-07 spring with the top hat in the pic you posted



if you think about it, if you buy 08-11 springs, it should be a direct replacement for your stock springs. everything made for a specific year should be a direct replacement. idk where you got those seats from but send them back. you're good
