Just got the car back and this was definitely a much need update.

The main reason I brought my car in was when you use to let the clutch out, occasionally it would just drop in rpms and no matter how much you pressed on the throttle... you couldn't get it moving... then all of a sudden like someone flipped a switch... you take off. Very strange.

Now that the update has been applied everything seems great. Car is very willing to accelerate from clutch engagement.

This happened to me once, it almost felt like it was running out of gas. I think I had mine on cruise control then it suddenly started to lose speed. I literally floored the gas pedal and it didn't budge the tach at all, almost like a severly clogged fuel filter. I pulled over, restarted the car and all was well. This happened to me 3 times since owning the car (6months). Took it to the dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong with the car :(

I only have about 20 miles on it since the update but I can see how this will make the car much much more enjoyable to drive. On a side note, since the update it has completely killed the vibration from my MS3 RMM with CS inserts. So that's definitely a plus as well.

Have intermittent hesitation as described by multiple members--took to dealer who is unable to reproduce and tell me they don't find any codes in the computer. Apparently won't do the update without the codes being present in the engine computer. As I read this TSB it sounds like the codes may be present or the symptoms may be present or both. Is that correct or do the codes have to be present to get the update?

no codes should be necessary. It's a service update, to help solve issues customers are experiencing. Designed for the exact reason you brought your car in the first place! I would say do one of two things. 1 take it to another dealership, or 2 contact Noemi on here and have the problem escalated. Personally, I think that's BS and I wouldn't want to even give that dealership more dough.
