2013 Focus with manuel transmission

Our son is returning from Afghanistan in July and is interested in a new Focus. He wants a manual transmission and had heard that they were going to offer it in more than just the base model. Does anybody know which models will be involved?

The one I think he wants is the 2013 Focus ST, which only comes with a 6-sp manual transmission. It has a Turbocharged 2 liter engine that is good for 250 HP and 270 ft-lbs of torque. Top speed is about 150 mph. There are a couple of package options ST2 or ST3 that can be ordered which includes things like Recaro seats, Navigation, etc. The Ford Website can let you configure it for options and prices.

Thanks' guys, He would love to get the ST, but may not be able to afford one. He was hoping they might put the manual in the SE and Titanium for 2013.

All trim levels except the SEL can be had with a manual transmission. I'm not sure if that carries over to the 2013s, as I don't think they're out yet. My 2012 had only been sitting at the dealership for 3 days when I bought it.

The best thing to do is get on Ford.com, build one the way you'd like it, & see where the price lands on the various trim levels.

+1. In the US you can get a 5 speed manual transmission in the S, SE, and Titanium models. I am picking up my SE 5-door with the sport package and manual transmission this afternoon. From my experience the manuals can be a little hard to find on the lots, so he may want to order one if that is a possibility.

The 2013 Order sheets will show up mid july so I would wait until then to see what options and combinations are available.

But from what I've seen, the most popular 5 spd choice seems to be the SE Sport package.

Take a look at the order guide posted here and you can figure out what options he wants.

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-ak...T3M/edit?pli=1

If you like we offer a buying service for USAA that he qualifies for so feel free to email me with the specs and I'm happy to send you pricing. We also ship to you at no charge or he can pickup here as well.

Orders start to pull soon.

Get him the SE w/sport package is the best deal since the other trim levels are mostly upgrades in creature comforts and 18" wheels.
I purposely avoided the other trim levels since I wanted the lightest, least nonsense model and I think I got it but if I did it again the heated seats with the winter package would be nice to spoil yourself with.
