Ya I had, Avie :)

now i'm having sleepless night investigating those E3 spark plugs, which supposedly aren't bad at all, this funny tip they have in lab testing provides better combustion.... so ya.... now I'm thinking 'hmmm........."

The Motorcraft Plugs are perfectly fine and work well. Don't believe the E3 or Platinum plugs being any better than the Motorcrafts. The Cooper ones are one of the tops for our cars gapped at .60. The cooper ones don't last as long but they do provide good spark.

Motorcraft is what Ford put in the cars originally, so you are perfectly fine.

Well, the Motorcrafts SP-524 I received are double platinum, now you made me wonder if gapping em at 0.60 wasn't a little too much.
Just found on the net that their default gap is 0.51 .... hmmm, but then again, as I said before, they all came gapped different with one being even at 0.61


I ordered those just by asking Steve for sparkplugs for SVT, next ones I will get will be copper, but that's gonna be next year, when building turbo, f... yeah :D

Nope, you misunderstood. It is best to gap them at .60. I was stating that the cooper ones in general don't last too long, probably 10K miles on average. But you are fine. .60 is just for best spark.

Well guys as of what some of ya'll know. I lost my job and now my rear upper control arm or now camber arms bolt sheered off. My car is out of commission as of right now. I am really glad i did not total out my car when it broke off. i will hopefully have it by this week so i can repair my car. Until then i may not see ya'll for a while. Sigh i guess such is life.

man sorry to hear that Austin things will look up...just a lil bump in the road and I've seen many of those ... sucks about the car though too just can't win can ya lol
