After seeong dyn085's results with just the K&N drop in I put the Steeda intake on the back burner and ordered the K&N from eBay $65 delivered to Aus.

Sorry, no. I believe it is a Borla w/o the resonator that follows the header. Should be louder then the Borla.

I went with the k&n drop in. At some point I'll do the newmission mod, I haven't decided how I want to do it yet.

Simply the K&N drop will not give you any extra hp/tq. It should maybe give better throttle response. Other than that, you'll need to do other customization to get any performance improvement (newmission etc). The K&N is still definitely worth it though.

Newmission mod is where you cut open the bottom of the airbox and route a 3" hose to the bumper for ram air flow.

Venison mod is where you hit a deer and push the hood back so cold air can get in directly.
