Need help with turbo
Well this guy has 2 garrett gt2871 turbos he said he has never used them! He said they were for mock uP
he said he bought them 2 years ago, but never used them The housing is rusty but from the pics the insides look newish what should I look for?

shaft play for sure. in & out isnt too bad, but side to side is bad! if none thats best other than that maybe the seals? turbos are fairly strong pieces of machines.

Also, gotta make sure the housing offset is correct for the SPA. Manifold. So it will stick out far enough to not touch the CFM oil separator. Then if it has a 2.5" flange for the down pipe. But probably gonna have to have the dp modified again, to fit.

I dont remember the offset ,sorry , you can contact Comp and ask them I am sure they would tell you
You are going to have to make a new down pipe and more then likely change the pipe that hooks to the Turbo Tom
