compression ratio depends on what piston you go with and the condition of the top of the block and the bottom of the head. and I built my block for 1900 bux

Compression depends on what boost your going to run , what octane fuel , and how your going to be using the engine , daily driving , race etc
Most are for street and daily driving , I would do about 9.2 compression , shipping is hard to say becuse fuel cost changing so much , I would guess about 250-275 but guessing Tom

Tom, another question, is the block you build safe to spin to 7,500 - 7,600 RPM? |

No way I would build a 10.5 compression engine and run anything less then 100 octane , what octane is going to be used
Yes I wouldnt go past 7600 and still stay wet sump Tom

Thanks Tom. I would be running 93 octane and won't spin past 7,600 RPM. I would of course like to run the highest compression ration that is practical. With the forged pistons you install in the block, is the C/R 9.5:1? Also, it would be naturally aspirated only.

9.5 compression would be the most I would do for 93
