Another question... Both of the Portsmouth Ford cars have an MSRP that is $100 less than I've been expecting. ($17400 for the SE Sedan and $18200 for the SE Hatchback.) Has the MSRP changed mid-year? Does this mean these cars are especially new or especially old?

the one VIN ending in 116 is old, been on their lot 200+ days.

Has Ford pretty much resolved all the early built auto-manual transmission issues and the MyFordTouch issues on the 2012 Focus?

How does it work with existing 2012 Focus owners when there is a software/adjustment update to any of its components? How often has that happened on the 2012 Focus?

There are still reports of older 12 Focus that have issues but Ford came out with a few TSB's to resolve issues. There are many threads in the 2012 forum.

Newly produced vehicles rarely have issuesfrom what I've seen. However this forum is a small sample compared to the amount of Focus on the road.

The more I read on this forum on the 2012 Focus, the more nervous I get.

It seems like there are still new postings by owners from recent purchases still with multiple issues relating to the DCT transmission, MFT, and general overall quality of the built, i.e., roof liner coming loose, etc.

Maybe the issues are far and few in between, but reading them still happening today makes me nervous and wonderring if this first model year Focus is a right car to purchase at this time. I've always waited a few years before buying a new model to let the bugs worked out.

May 3rd is when it released, I really think the newly built Focus don't have many issues like it may seem. Any vehicle will have issues regardless of manufacturer.

Hey, I picked up my new Titanium the other day and I was thinking about adding the back-up camera. So, I have two questions. Firstly, can this be done? I do have the MyFord Touch system with Nav. Secondly, any idea how much it'd cost?

With regard to backup camera, you can add it but it will not be a factory unit. Most cameras start at around $400 and nicer ones will go upwards of $1,000.
