I just finished installing mine in my trunk. These were super easy to install once i figured out which wire was the power wire on my car. Excellent craftsmanship with this kit. Thanks for the awesome led kit Justin. I can't wait to see them in the dark. I'll snap some pictures after dark and I'll post some daytime and nighttime pictures a little later.

I make the SVT kits now, the only issue is they all mount on the right side of the hatch due to the Sub on the left. Due to this the light is going to be more on one side than the other but it does cost a little less. $30 instead of the $35 for the trunk or zx3/zx5 setup, the other main difference is there are 3 bricks as opposed to the 4 for the other setups.

Awesome and thanks, I am really glad everyone is liking these and that installation has been easy. I was really trying to get that across and am glad it worked out. Can't wait for pictures.

i think i would adjust it so its at the rear end of the car,the side closest to the back, just so its even and shines back towards the front, or is that not possible the way its setup

If I understand this correctly you are wanting to place them on the rear molding right under where the hatch's latch is? I could set something like that up but don't prefer it, I like to hide the LEDs, going that route would have them too much in the open and it would be harder to run them due to the wire having to go somewhere. It's a shame you aren't closer, it's so much easier to do custom work when I have the car in front of me.

There might be a way to fold the carpet back on the sub box to let the light from a ZX3/ZX5 kit shine through but that would be some custom work you would have to fiddle with, I tried and couldn't find a way to do it without doing some kind of work on the sub enclosure.

This is true. As is with all the mods I want for my car, I have plenty of time to think about it to see if it truly is what I want. Thanks. Would you be able to mix in two or three colors together so a strands lighting went let's say Blue, Red, White?
