So w/ that^^^^ That means they take away the road feel. Artifisle feel= no good. It seems like its all about the eletronic's, that figure's. How is the on center feel & slight off?

I don't think spell check had a chance to catch "Artifisle"... artificial maybe? My SE has EPAS, and I think it has good on-center feel, I'm constantly surprised at how much I like the power steering in my car.

I have been paying attention to mine more since this thread, and have noticed under hard acceleration, it feels about the same as a rear wheel drive car. I mean, I notice no torque steer. Granted it is only 160hp, but still zero torque steer. Anybody else have the same experience? Plus the overall feel is excellent for a FWD car.

Down side is I know little about turbos, but from what Ford said the turbo and parts were tuned to hit a set HP/TQ and stay in that area. It sounded like they made a 300 HP/ 325 TQ vehicle and then detuned it for a few reasons to where it makes set power longer vs a peak and then just drop.

Time will tell, but Ford says it will hold the power band. I think tuners might make this car a monster and hope Ford beefed up the Ecoboosts well. As of now the ST seems like the best buy.
Overboost, thats what I was reading about.

Ford Focus ST increases acceleration through factory “overboost” turbo feature that extends torque curve from 3,000 rpm to 4,500 rpm for up to 15 seconds
Turbo tuned to decrease response time and increase power throughout rev range

Is over boost automatic? Or is there a button or something for it?

From what I understand, the turbo will overboost for up to 15sec automatically whenever the accelerator is pushed to the floor.

I think you mean closed. Wastegate open lets exhaust gases bypass the turbine wheel, which lowers your boost pressure.
