i have an issue with my revs hanging on a cold start. normal? it happens for about a minute of driving than goes away. this only started when i installed the intake

If I understood correctly they mean it idles high. That is the norm in my experience for cars on a cold start/cold day, but I've only used the focus in warm weather (so perhaps he means just hasn't run the car that day).

what i mean is while changing between gears the rpm is sticking instead of coming down right away, im not talking about a slight delay but a decent delay. it stops after a minute or so of driving.
