What neat tricks and tips have you've found since owning?

I just discovered the up/down seat adjustment and it's a nice feature to have.

While playing with SelectShift today, I realised you can skip gears in downshifts by double-tapping the shifter.

The little "thinking time" I'd previously put down to bad engineering (I guess it still is, really) now seems like an attempt to detect this. Inexcusable on upshifts, though.

In a base model - If you hold the OK button on the dashboard for the radio while you turn the key to the run position will trigger the test mode for the radio LCD display.

Turning the car off and back on resets the car back to normal mode.

Great I find this out after I removed the french doors in our dining room plus another 12" from one door jam so I could get close enough to my router to plug in with an ethernet cable.

On my 2012 Focus Ti hatch with leather seating, the driver's seat, on the 'right' side of the upright part of the seat (where your back goes), it has a manual lumbar adjustment handle. I'm very fussy about seating comfort, and this is my #1 feature! :-)

Note: the rest of the driver seat adjustments are all power adjustable, but not the lumbar.

It's just a list of things like an LCD test that lights up every light on the LCD and then some info like the vin number for the car. Nothing really interesting or useful in my opinion.

Holding the trip reset in the base model as you turn the car on is more useful as you get a digital speedo or tach and you can even see fuel flow numbers though I think it only tells you much fuel has been used since you went into the test mode for that.
