Forgot to mention, you should take him no problem with that motor. The problem is that the car si 50% of the equation, if you don't know how to launch or bang gears, your going to be seeing Honda tailights.

Well I let y'all know now, I can get off the line quick on pavement, and I can bang gears like no-one's business.

With the advise on RPM at launch on drag track, I should be good.

7 pages long and full of good info from experienced focus dragsters.

I am dying to get this going, but parts must go on, and some come off, and then we schedule it.

A date should be up here by July, maybe sooner if everything goes good with part installation.

Sounds like you should have a really good race on your hands man. I want to take my new SVT out to the track. Im thinking of just taking the spare out and the uneccesarry weight, but not a lot to get a base number that later mods and things i can have a comparison to where i am now and where i was. Im hoping for maybe 15.99999 if I'm super lucky or mid 16's

Good Look with your mods, just remember to stay away from cheap parts and pay extra for ones that work. Those knock OBX parts can be a great copy, or can be complete shit. I'm not sure how good they make parts for the 2.3L motor.

Well I'm getting my OBX from a member here in CT that had it on his 2.0L.

So it should be good, I think it's one of the originals, but because he had it wrapped, it seems to be in great condition.

He took the wrap off for me to see, so I'll probably end up wrapping it again, and learning how-to wrap a header for the first time. lol, that should be fun.
