got my tinted emblem on today.


making slow progress on the wing. just coated it in primer! the color looks wierd from shadows in my garage.

i bet you all forgot about this thread! well i got some modding done today. i am in such a good mood since i got all this! lol here it is.

new hatch actuator, the button still doesn't work, but i have a key for it now. but hey, it's better than crawling in the back!



SVT upper!!! got it for a steal!

also got a color-matched hatch trim for a steal. all the bolts are broken but i can live with it. i'm going to get double sided 3M tape soon and tint the emblem before it goes on.

thanks man! it feels good to have some fresh parts go on. i could have got a euro grille, but the tabs were real bad, and i don't have signals in my headlights. plus i've wanted an SVT grille for a while now. i will take some more today. i wanted to tint the signals eventually, should i use VHT or dip it?

I would leave them alone, they look good amber. I think it cheapens the look of an SVT grille on a non-SVT when you mod it. If you must use the rustoleim lens tint cause you won't see your turns through plastidip unless you do it thin which defeats plastidips purpose.

i seee. good idea, i was thinking the same thing that it makes the grille look cheap on a non svt. good thinking. i'll keep it stock. i do like my car with a lot of black but i'd hate to ruin the grille.

i want machs or st170s or whatever they are, but they are far out of my price range atm. if you just mean the dark grey oem style headlights, that's my next project. i ordered a driver's side one and need to find the passenger side. (they are in chrome) then i will cut them open and paint them black.
i think they will look good with HID's

yep i would have got that today actually, but i got the hatch trim instead. that is on the to-do list as well.
