To be honest, I think the HB '12 Focus is loads better-looking than the HB WRX or STi from the current generation of the GR chassis. By no small margin either.

The difference is extreme, yes.

I've not driven a Veloster so I'm going off the C&D and Motortrend reviews I've read...

I have driven a Veloster and while it is slow, it isn't any slower than every other $15k economy car on the road today.

btw the mistakes on your chart, 0-60 for wrx in 4.7 seconds, also we have 17x8 wheels stock

Fixed! Although, I should point out that while doing 0-60 in a straight line (and under 5 seconds) is fun, I think having all that torque available at a low rpm for coming out of turns fast is more fun.
To each his own though.
Actually, I've been meaning to ask, do you actually see that 4.8s in the real world? I had heard that it required a dead start, dropping the clutch, and perfect shifts to obtain.

i really like the wrx, i really like the focus but i have never been fond of the 4dr hatch to me its just a compressed wagon

Yes, there is a known issue with it, in which some people experience piston ringland failure and detonation, (in cyls 1 and 4, iirc). OK first things first 2011 Impreza for the 2011 year, Impreza was down to 27,391 from 36,072 in 2010. Thats a drop of -24.07%. STIs only made up 13805 of that number. Do yourself a favor and look at the sales numbers for other cars and tell me what you find. Better yet here an insight for you for the 2010 Mustang which "only" sold 66,623, and that is an all time record low.

As for the so called "mis-representation" of the EJ25..... I guess DSport doesn't know what they're talking about then? No they were not talking about the 08 or 09 model problems they were talking about 11 and 12 model problems which continue to persist.

Fans of the Impreza apparently "are what they are" as there is no need to make anything up as the numbers don't lie.

I hope the ST does 0-6 in the high 5's. I also hope the ST gets close to 35 MPG or better. The stopping should be close to the Ti I would think (is the ST suspension package that much different than the Ti wheel/brake/suspension upgrade?).

The ST most definitly has bigger brakes all around, the rest of the suspension is probably a bit better. Stopping distance should be top of its class as long as the ST doesn't weight too much more in the front with the added turbo.

I guess when the ST comes out we can compare it to the handling package.

I thought the handling pack had better brakes, but I guess I was thinking of the Mustang GT.
