Glad that I found this forum. I just got myself a new Ford Focus hatchback. It came with Sony Audio and Sync. While the sound system is alright, the small screen just doesn't fit right with the car, it is small and lacking GPS and other functionality. I did some survey and came across this website http://www.flyaudio.net/product_id.asp?id=276&xid=1#. What do you think, is the spec sound decent? Not sure with the price though and I also concern that it might be the low quality Chinese product. By the way, how difficult it is to disassemble the stock Sony unit. Any reference or online video guide that you can point me to? Thank you.

i purchased the avc or acv kit. cant remember what its called exactly. and the kit alone was pricy but well worth it to get what i wanted out of it. and no one ripped me off

no problem. and to further clarify it, i wouldnt ever buy some cheap looking junk like that. thats just a waste of money

I emailed them but they have no info yet.

The install guide was only just updated and the picture just added so hopefully soon we'll see where Metra themselves suggest we buy it.

I'm almost positive that won't work on the focus only because of the relocation of the haz and door lock switches. I'd have to see the back of it though to know for sure.
