Depending on year and ECU code the flaps switch over at 29-3200 there there as much for emmissions as anything , you will not feel them taken out

Well then maybe i need my tune adjusted. Mine seems REALLY slugish till it gets just over 3k then it really picks up quick after that.

To me it feels like its not getting enough air.

Did you get rid of the actuator or leave it plugged in?

I removed everything linked to the tumble flaps and plugged all the holes.

If i switch back ill have to put back my stock intake and all the parts with it. Then roll my tune back to the one i ran before the flap mod.

I followed your thread and did the same to mine. Are you happy with it or no? I went higher compression ratio so im wondering how much it will affect it after the tune. From what I can tell now it shouldn't be that noticeable

I feel a low end loss, say around 1-3k rpms it seems alot more slugish. Just after 3k it has a HUGE pickup like its been whipped.

Im running an auto and for some reason it seems to want to run alot around 3k cruising and shifting i guess for gas milage.

I feel for my car it was better with the flaps in there.

I dont want to put it back because i did ALOT of work on the flapless intake but i just prefer it how it was with an auto tranny

Do you just plug the hole on the end, where the actuvator arm is or do you plug all the holes where the shaft does thru?

My car feels a lot smoother running w/ the flaps opened. So I'm going to either get an escape manifold or plug the holes on the stock one. Say Ronnie did you just plug the hole on the end where the actuvator arm is, or do you plug all the holes where the shaft goes thru?

Use it w/o the tumble flaps. For me it makes the motor run smoother. I was asking Ronnie if he filled up all the shaft holes or just where the actovator arm is. Would anyone know if the escape manifold has all the same mounts & stuff as a 23 Foci manifold minus of course the imrc?
