While everyone says the typical "blown this" and "Ferrari that" crap...

Posted via FF Mobile If I had a great job that paid a decent salary, an Aston Martin DBS, I love Aston Martin, such beautiful cars. If I had to choose right now, I'd have to get something I'd also be able to pay the insurance on and afford to maintain....therefore I choose, get ready....a 2013 Focus ST, unless it gets not so great gas mileage, then Ill just get a 2013 Titanium. Do I sound crazy? Maybe to some but other choices would be like a new Mustang Gt, but that will cost more in gas, insurance for sure, and tires. One being that the rears would wear out faster thanks to all that fun power, and I would have to get other tires and wheels for the winter. Other rwd sports cars will have similar negatives. Its free, I can deal with a sporty compact hatch.

Free? I would take an American V8, a Shelby... SSC Tuatara or Ultimate Aero.

To be honest, if I'm only getting a free car and nothing else changes, I would choose a Focus ST. It's simple (ignoring all the tech crap in the interior), fast, fun, handles well (hopefully), and most importantly, is practical. I have no use for a sports car and can't afford keeping something like a Ferrari running. All I need is something fun on the weekends but can also work during the weekdays.
