Well I wasn't going to buy this intake (very pricy I think) but I did fond one for a really cheap price. It was used for 2 days or something ridiculous. should be here this week!

It will usually help. Driving conditions and method (braking early, starting slowly) will affect gas mileage the most.

Mine was a slight increase on the first tank after I installed mine, this last tank I put in 91 octane and the steeda seems to like that better, I have to fill up later today but my estimate is at least a 1 mpg improvement.

I don't have a Steeda ...yet, but Having an intake helped me better gauge how much the engine was working, If I drove around like a grandma and made sure that I couldn't hear the engine working, then I would get fantastic MPG's. It's quite surprising how little throttle is required to make noise.

So true! I was driving past another stock focus the other day and barely touched the gas, only to be greeted by a loud throaty sound. And then I sped away

Any dyno numbers to see an increase and where it is in the powerband? Most intakes do little for real acceleration but throttle response and a little more at the highend is normal but it's a poor bang for the buck mod. I'd do an exhaust before an intake.
