What's the X-Plan?

My work offers the X-Plan for ford purchases, but doesn't go into details of what it is. Any ideas? Is it something worth doing?

x-plan gives you a lower buying price through the dealers , the ST Focus is not in the x-plan so not all Ford products are in the x-plan

That isn't entirely true.

There IS an X plan for the vehicle, but it is dealer discretion on whether they honor the price or not. There is no obligation for the dealer to offer X plan (or D, A, etc) on a vehicle, but they DO have the option.

Ford told dealers that you cannot buy an ST on any plan they will not reimburse the dealer for it.
X plan is good for people that don't like haggling, the dealer fees are less expensive as well.

I retract everything I have said - called someone in the biz and this is 100% correct.

Very disappointed Ford. VERY.

Your work will provide you with a “Partner Code” and you can use that to access https://www.fordpartner.com/partnerweb/login.do

From there you can see what discounts are available. Generally the higher the trim level and/or the more you spend, the larger the discount you can get. Not as good of a discount as D or Z plan but its nice if you want to just walk in to a dealer and not worry about haggling or anything
