Hi guys,
Does anyone know what size adapters to get to hook up to the water pipes? I bought a kit for the water connections to the turbo, but the barb connections at the end look way to small for my water hoses. The kit is I think -6AN braided line. At the end it takes a coupler.

Sorry, I have M14 connections going onto the turbo which is connected to a braided steel line that terminates in a -6AN Female connector. Then I have a -6AM male to barb fitting that should connect into the water line. Car is at home at the moment so I cannot measure the waterline to see what size barb fitting I should get.

Well I went back to stock and I am selling the Turbo kit. It is in the for sale section along with the JRSC + BBK kit I had on before the turbo project.

Im sorry you had such a headache. But did you ever find the route cause of the failure? We had a 5 series in the shop not long ago that sucked water and ended up doing something like this. Rod was bent just slightly. Piston ended up traveling in the bore more towards the rear than the front. Sucker still even ran, only slightly more noisey and very resistant to revving lol.

Nope ... It looks like the clip holding the wrist pin in position came out thus allowing the wrist pin to move out.
