Peanuts...
Sure, 50 per side. 100 for a disc should you need to replace those as well.

Point is, costs.

To Ford, it makes no sense to give their base models 4 disc brakes.

I never argued with that, that's clear. Was just saying that Ford's making you pay even more to get them now.

I think we all get that, not sure what gave you that impression. Everyone's saying the weight in the rear, and therefore the friction between the rear tires and the road, and therefore the need for stopping power in the rear, is all less than the front. The debate is whether that means you therefore don't need discs in the rear and drums will suffice in every reasonably expected situation.

This is worse than what others were saying before you.

The mass does not shift forward or backward (for the purposes of this discussion); the weight does. Weight is a measure of force, and it DOES change as the car's velocity changes.

Man, I don't know where you're buying your parts, but you're paying more than double what I'm paying. You must be including labor.

If I could figure out how to upload the PDF I'd include it, but I don't see the 'Manage Attachments' button here.

Nevermind, I don't have access to post attachments unfortunately.

If you have a Dropbox, Google Docs/Google Drive, or Skydrive account you could probably upload it there and then paste a shared link in here. All are free and easy for sharing files online. Let me know if I can help or if you need me to post it in mine and share a public link with you.
