I think I'll be going with Formula One Pinnacle tint and 40 front with 30 everywhere else. UT's law has 43% for the fronts and the Pinnacle 40 is actually 43%. I don't want to risk darker especially since the dark interior makes the tint look darker and might increase the chance for being tested. But, having the backs a bit darker should make it appear that I made the effort to remain within the law.

Car is (or will be) a 2012 Sonic Blue Titanium HB -- should be picking up in a couple weeks and my first stop will be the tint shop...

We are going with Formula One Pinnacle as well. In N.C, we can only do 35% all the way around. No darker and it has to be the same, crazy I know!! We have had Pinnacle on all our vehicles and use the same shop everytime. Picking car up tomorrow and got appointment for tint next Monday.

That is great news, you surely suffered through the prolonged wait.

I should be no more than a couple weeks behind you, maybe as soon as 5/21. Noemi said 5/28 but I'm hoping that was a worst case estimate. I did check with CSX today but no status yet. Car was ordered 4/14 and built 5/7...

Tinting is about the only thing I'm planning for the near future, but over time I will order new wheels/tires, a spring kit and maybe shocks. I would like a tad lower and a bit stiffer but as this is my daily driver I have no plans to Rice it. About the only engine work I can see is a CAI, but, once again, not for a while...

Thanks Brian, suffer indeed!!! It will be picked up on the original ETA date Ford first supplied!! In other words, worst case! Since this will be my wife's daily driver, I won't be doing much to it. I was planning on installing the contour splash guards myself, but since it is raining now and supposed to for the next 3 days, that figures, I am going to have the dealer install them in the morning. I have ordered the Weathertech vent shades, currently backordered till early June and I have the engine cover here and will be installing that. I might pick up a chrome exhaust tip and one of those magnetic bras to help with summertime bugs. Other than that, pretty much going to stay stock, although a Titanium is far from stripped!!!

I hear you about the 35% all the way around. Before the law change in 2006, Maine used to be 50% all glass sides and rear. Now we have a very reasonable 35% front and unlimited behind the driver provided the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides.

I haven't seen anyone post anything darker than 12%? Has anyone tried anything darker all around? I don't have mine yet, still on order, but I'm planning on 5% all around. I have it on my current car a Jeep and have never had any trouble seeing out at any time of night. Plus it really has kept the car much cooler in the summer as well as kept anything from sun fading.

first time posting new member. Just got mine about a month ago, had it tinted the other day. 20% back 35% front solarguard.
