I can't deny that that way of doing it looks good too, but painted blue looks a lot different (if done well) than flat black plastic. It's all just my opinion, but I've never liked anything that looks like plastic on my car, I'd rather have everything a gloss color of some sort.

Ahh, I see you're right about painting it - just either needs to be painted the body-color, or black - def not some random color lol

Yea it's not even bolted to the corner yet I wanted to let it sit over night before I messed with it so I would have time to dry. I'll run a screw through it tomorrow and that'll pull it in better on that side. I'll prolly leave it black plastic and do the plastic skirts. I'm getting a wrecked SVT rear from a friend that I'm going to hack up and make a SVT rear later.

That will be sweet, I remember someone doing an SAP rear on a first gen(sorry but 05-07 are 1.5 gens) So an SVT rear on your sedan will look real good

Yea I've been wanting to do it for a while now, I actually made a thread for it ages ago but never fallowed through it's been done on wagons before I want to see it on a sedan.

how do you like the filter on the stock intake? does it change the performance at all? and also did you need a coupler to connect it?

It seemed to help make it more peppy and you can hear the car inhale now. No I just got the filter the same size of the MAF and attached it.

did you make a thing to make thing to force more air into your intake? if so what all did you do to make it? cause ive been thinking of doing something like that
