oh an i'll be changing my oil in a while once my engine cools down.. that's my mod for today

also, i might be getting graduation money early so i can redo my brakes. i don't know if i posted before, but i'm getting new rotors, drums, and pads. i don't know how much more calipers would be, though i do NOT want to re-bleed the brake lines. that is such a pain.

the drums and calipers will be painted electric blue for some accent. also, my wheels squeak from time to time, so i'll be looking into new wheel bearings. this is my next challenge.

unfortunately, the wing will have to wait longer i'm looking for someone with plastic/fiberglass skills to fix it for me.

its better to change your oil when its hot lol. Anyway I got the hang of shifting, but I still mess up when coming outta first

yeah alot of people say first is the hardest part, along with reversing. like i said, you get used to it pretty quick if you practice.

how is it better to change it when it's warm? i guess i was thinking about the radiator cooling down so i thought it would be the same for oil.

the oil flows faster when warm.

Yeah, change your oil when it it is warm! With oil you don't have to worry about steam exploding in your face like with a radiator lol.

i'm torn on what big mod i should go with next. i'm deciding between lowering, full stereo upgrade, exhaust and header, sts, or short ram. someone help me choose? i kinda want to get into performance mods so i'm leaning towards heads and exhaust.

If the car is still fun to driv, then I would wait on performance mods, just because it takes a lot of money to make the Focus fast. I would do audio then wheels and drop and then do performance mods. Do the exhaust and header at the same time then do an SRI and go from there.

The main reason why I would hold out on the performance is cause you'll still get beat unless you're boosted. When you lose interest in driving it, the fun will come back with a few bolt-ons like intake and exhaust.

it's fun to drive, i'm the kind of person who toys around with other fast cars on the road. it would make it more fun if i can keep up with some people. like when i tried racing that spec-v it pulled way harder than my car. i understand those types of cars are made for that but i would like to have a fairly fast car.

i'm hitting 0-60 in around 15 seconds... i had a 4 speed toyota that could hit that in 12-13 seconds.

but i'll take your advice on this one. i know it's not a good idea to have a lot of power with a crappy suspension. so i'll have to agree with what you said.
