I'm atx. And I no longer have mine as I have a cai but this mod was one of my favorites cause of how cheap it is. I loved it only the trans lines was a little scary so make sure you get a short one or use a u or l tube to extend it so it doesn't hit.

Just did this, the short ram style, to my 09. It took a while because I had to cut the top of the airbox from around the MAF tube. I used a propane torch and a knife to cut away the tube, then fine tuned it with a razor blade and some sand paper. So far, so good, seems to work perfectly.

does the stealth intake make your engine sound louder like other cai do?

The exhaust will get slightly deeper & louder but mostly you'll hear the air getting sucked into the intake

I didn't notice an exhaust change, the engine noise is definitely louder (especially at a cold start!).

I did the Steeda short ram, very easy, works great, no ECU problems. On another note that Heat shield that comes with it is a beast in protecting that area in a front end collision. I am still using it after crushing the front end of my car. It's a beast!!!!!

alright guys just got around to doing my stealth CAi.
I went to autozone and looked for a k&n filter with the 3 1/4 diameter but was not there.
so like many i bought the spectre filter that gives you the options of 3, 3 1/2, & 4".
took about 40 minutes following this guide
http://www.ineedawebsite.com/Blazing...lth%20CAI.html
so, what to expect once done?
Rough idle for at least 10 minutes.
Make sure that everything is reconnected and tightened properly.
don't worry when it's idling because it will sound rough, just give it time.
i can tell my exhaust sounds a little deeper and overall response is better.
nice 25$ mod. :)
Pics:

would definitely consider it "stealth" from top engine view you can't even tell ^-^ haha.

No problems with it getting wet? Mine did and then sputers started...almost hydolock. That's when car sat til I could afford the steeda. Course water puddles like a mofo in a lot of Atlanta.
