They do look a little small but when i printed out the 8 inch ones they seemed a to big. We shall see tho. I have more important mods than a $300+(maybe Functional) aesthetic one.

I have been told (not authoritatively) that a 'good' shop can louver a hood for not much money. You may want to check it out (or not). My understanding is if done correctly, it does not need a repaint. Just a thought!

Basically what money I get back will be the total amount of damages minus my deductible minus wholesale value of my car if I decide to keep my car.

Otherwise, I just get the value of my car back minus the deductible and I go search for a new focus.

Thanks, in the last half of 2003 they offered the 2.3 duratec pzev in select "green" states. In 2004 the 2.3 was offered in all states, then in 2005 the 2.0 duratec was offered standard, the 2.3 in the ST.

Well, if you want, let us know what the value of the car is in its current condition. BTW >> just FYI: a few years back, AmFam, Farmers Ins etc. got there a_ses handed to them for not repairing cars to OEM standards (twas a big class action). This might prevent them from talking with 'dent doctor' or getting any other quotes. I.E. you may be able to get your car repaired for a whole lot less than there allowed to tell you. You might want to check into that before auction.

Here is what I got from NADA.


I'm mainly worried about my hood, the other damage isn't too noticeable. With the summer being right around the corner, some of the dents should pop out (so I've heard), I can live with my roof and trunk being banged up. I really don't have any plans on getting rid of my focus. And besides, my cousin does PDR for Dent Wizard, so I can get it mostly fixed dirt cheap or even free. I've already priced hoods (probably just go ahead and upgrade to a CF hood), the plastic cowl pieces, and the windshield. So as long as my insurance company (Progressive) doesn't try to jack me around, I should come out favorably or close to it since the remaining difference will go to paying off the remaining $1500 I owe on the car, freeing up a good chunk of $ every month to save for necessary fixes.
