So do these cars have wide-band O2's or narrow? I thought that was one of the ways they optimized power and efficiency on the TI/VCT engines?

To my knowledge we have narrow band sensors.

That blows, wide band would ease tuning some, without the rich/lean yo-yo narrows provide. I have a buddy with an '11 5.0 Mustang maybe I can swipe his.

The easiest thing for tuning is the innovated LC-1 wide band. I used that on a few cars. Also AEM is good as a permanent mount options.

I dont thinks parts should be released to the market that have the potental of hurting the engine because of the way there built and/or the lack of R&D just to make a $$$$ or to claim to be the first to market All that would have to be done with an intake is see the engine is lean stock and slightly larger maf hole to richen it up , this would keep the engine safe , make more power , only down side is a redesign and spending more money and time to do it right so it comes down to being about the $$$$ so the customer suffers for this and if Ford sees the intake on there with a bad engine the customers then looses all waranty , why the crap not do it right ? The dyno guy should of stopped this run and never let it go past about 4500 its insane to keep doing WOT runs knowing how lean that engine is , the guy doing the dyno should be ashamed Yes I have had about 10 2012 on my dyno they were all lean Tom

I don't think an intake or exhaust void Fords warranty so I'm not worrying about it. Plus if you have had 10 2012's on your dyno that all ran lean then maybe it just runs lean.
I definitely don't know exactly what you mean but I understand the concept. What should the afr be at during part throttle, wot, or idle?

I'm also going to say that the place didn't go WOT until around 3,700 rpm I think it may show on the graph. They did it this way because the car would downshift out of 4th gear of.you went WOT before that rpm.
But is that partially to blame for it running lean until 4,500 or so? Also, where the afr dips to that dashed line, is that when it is getting more fuel?

Stock 2004 dyno and afr. Starts at around 15.0 and ends at around 11.5 at redline but was above that most of the rpms before that, is this normal for that focus?
