RS Hood Vents
Anyone know where I could find RS styled hood vents that aren't
1. In the UK
2. over $200

So far the only ones I've found are in the UK and are way to expensive.

Those are replacements, how are you going to fit them in? And I've always wondered this, How does water not get in under the hood?

Good questions. As i really don't know the answers for sure. I thought i could cut out a nice place for them on the hood and fit them in. I'm not sure how i'd get it done.

Most places at least in my area won't do that to a hood they say it's too complicated and pricy and easier to buy a new hood.

I dont know if i would risk cutting into the hood, it is a $700 replacement if you screw up.

i did some searching and it looks like cars with vented hoods get water in them, but that it isnt a problem because water doesnt hurt the engine

Would water getting on the grounded wires in the engine mess it up? And how would that affect an open intake in the car?
