From what I gather, he will be running a AEM cold air, an F2 long tube header with custom 2.5 flex pipe and 2.5 borla duels.

Yeah will be interesting to see what the header adds, I think oxy's setup will be much more popular for most people. It is the best bang for the buck with bolt ons. Even if the steeda makes more power the cost is a lot more than fswerks(I own a steeda, so no bias)

No, im very interested in his setup and numbers as well. i didnt even know he was getting on the dyno anytime soon so it is good to know.


I want a header too but want to wait til they make a kit that specifies its for the 2012 and can be installed with their race system without modification to the exhaust.

Well if a header is in your future, you will need to consider calling FSwerks at that time to order the stealth portion of the exhaust kit. Unless you like obnoxiously loud cars. I help work on a lot of the older Duratec motors and had a friend with a D20 with a race header and trubends exhaust only one muffler no resonator and his car was stupid loud.

But focusboy is in uncharted areas with this new motor and I want to believe that 200 whp with basic bolt on's and a tune (when it comes out) is achievable.

Yeah the header will bolt to the block but you will have to make sure you get the longer flex pipe so you don't have to pull the cat-back portion of the exhaust forward.

Looks like you shut all the people up who didn't think those numbers were going to happen... btw not all motors will make the same power some make 140wheel stock and some make 150 all just depends on clearances.

No motor will ever make the same power as its twin right next to it. Redfocus will remember the zetecs made 105whp all the way to 125whp stock which is crazy. Its all in how they are built no two are the same.

Total mods of my Dyno will be.

0-20w full synthetic, gapped plugs. 050" (ya I keep adjusting them), f2headers with f2 flex and 2.5 borla flex back with dual exit. Also premium fuel. Im running it out of gas and making sure its all 93 nothing less. I want 180whp but let's see what comes.

Also yes the flex is not modified but you will need to cut the exhaust in half after the first muffler and put a sleeve to add the 1/2 that was pulled by the header.

Yeah my zetec was one of the 105whp motors but back in those days was because of the set cam gears, once I installed cam gears and went to a 0/0 on intake and exhaust I gained power.

But to the point all motors are different

Ox-y-GenIII could you tell us what the altitude, air pressure, temp and humidity was at the time of the dyno? 164 is less than some of the other posts but if it was hot or you are at high elevation you will tend to get lower numbers.

The only other dyno of this setup that has been posted is fswerks official one, they got 167, 164 is within reason and is the fastest posted dyno from a user and not manufacturer.

edit: fastest is the wrong word, highest HP.
