2012 focus time from order to delivery?

you cant track your order on the internet you gotta ask your dealer, the only thing you can do on the internet with your vin number is get the windows sticker and on the windows sticker youll get a code which contain the date that your car will be build and by that you can guess the delivery date because its take arround 2 weeks after the build date for you to receive your car at the dealer. here is the website to do so: http://researchmaniacs.com/Ford/Trac...CarOrders.html

Anybody know what would cause a change to the ETA? My car is scheduled to be built tomorrow and the ETA was originally Monday April 30, but I was told today it is now May 7.

^ about 1001 things. Supplier/parts issues perhaps?

Maybe 1 part didnt make quality inspection? That can hold up production for weeks by itself...

Hey, I have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer. I decided to order a Focus back on March 27th and I was told it'd be in within 4-6 weeks. This was done over the phone with a dealer that I'd already met and nearly bought a Focus from. I wasn't asked to come put any cash down or anything either. Last I spoke to them was April 19th and there wasn't much of an update for me as far as a VIN number or any definitive delivery date.

Is this normal procedure and I just need to have some patience or should I keep trying to get a hold of them? I have left two messages since Saturday without a callback yet. I'm assuming they're just busy and or waiting to have some kind of news to tell me. I've seen some people on here say it took way over the 6 weeks but some at least have a VIN number.

just have patience,but your dealer should be in touch with you. i had to 1000.00 down
i started march 19 an just got a vin last week.
