Ha! This is how I explained to Jodi me "needing" to get a turbo. I will rarely ever pull out in front of traffic, and she hates it. So I told her if my car had more power I would pull out into traffic more, thus sacrificing several thousand dollars to make her happy. Don't think it worked... lol.

Heck! I was just shooting for brakes. ~$500. You got some trying to angle for a turbo!

Depends on the leather, and what type of paint. Saddle Soap however is almost always safe. It says on the can not to use on suede I think.
rethink >> how much paint? just a spot or a wide area?
re-re-think >> saddle soap will clean into the poors. If your leather is treated (probable), this may cause a bad color shift. I guess then only try it on a very small spot (if at all).

I have referred your problem to "she who knows all things material" (The original 'material girl'?). She said for you to call a store that specializes in cleaning leather. She said the saddle soap won't hurt, but it won't do anything with paint. There is a store here in STL that specializes in cleaning and reconditioning leather. So if you don't have a local source let me know and I will send you there number. P.S. Wife also said that you should NOT try things like goo-gone as it will prob have disastrous effects. P.S.S. From the sheen in the pic. Your leather has been treated. If you know what kind of leather it is that would prob be really helpful to the shop.

Hmmm. Well, I doubt Ford would be able to help. OK. It's treated automotive interior leather. Spose you don't know what kind of paint by chance?

Just a suggestion (maybe a dumb one!), but maybe try soaking a rag with acetone nail polish remover and hold it on the spot for a minute to let it soak in the try scraping at it with your fingernail... That's what I would try
