Im confused aswell. Obd cars 1996I and up with no check engine codes do not receive visual inspection and a sniffer. So what's the big deal? California you can forget it they try and hit you for everything there.

I think it is that willingness to knowingly do something illegal, my state law is no modification or removal of emissions devices, but there is no inspection here, that was my initial reason for wanting to do it, and for some social reasons with people that I am around, but the more i look at the best way to do it, and how much power it would rob, it stops being a cost effective performance, and so going catless is probably the best choice.

We have emissions testing to worry about around here.

Besides that there's no reason. Hell, we have a law here that forbids ANY modifications to the exhaust. However, that doesn't stop anyone from modifying anything and the police certainly don't hand out tickets for it.

I'm surprised to see the EGR port not there. Where is it on the new Focus?

Excellant job FocusBoy. Now I know what my next mod will be. Got an appointment with the Dyno, 30th of April to see what I get with mods so far.
I had to ask if they do front drivers. Does any one know if I will have to remove the undertray so it can be strapped down on the dyno?

EGR isn't necessary with exhaust VCT.

Thanks for all the R & D, and posting the info and flicks! I must have missed something though..................what brand is the Long Tube Header? Ford? Steeda? FSWorks? Unobtanium?

F2 headers long out if business that's why I know focussport headers will fit. The original I tried was Obx and needed mods. I measured my friends fswerks/ focussport header and it will fit with no issues.
