phone cameras are the best. Sure the quality sucks but they are way more versatile than a bulky DSLR and the apps nowadays make it easy to click and share.

The camera on my phone is awesome lol. And Camera360 is one of the nicest camera apps I've found.

I was about to download camera360...... stay away from HDRcamera. It looks cool on your phone and still does but as soon as you upload it the quality is crap as I have demonstrated above.

My iPhone 3GS takes horrific pictures.

It's only good for shots that you try to edit artistically. Such as grainy black and white and washed out sepia a la Instagram.

The iPhone 4 received the quality upgrade on photos and so did the iPad.

A camera that shocks me in quality is the Nokia N8 and TMobile's MyTouch. Great quality and clarity out of those photos and videos for phones. Nokia now works with Zeiss Lenses to go onto their phones. Crazy.

My Samsung Galaxy stinks.

iPhone 4 has a 5mp camera, iPhone 4S has 8mp with improved optics. My iPhone camera is honestly better than just about any point&shoot on the market.

^^ That's probably a bit of an overstatement, but I see what you're saying. This isn't really the forum for this discussion, but just about any picture is going to look good on a 3.5" screen with 300 ppi. Take a picture from a $150-200 point and shoot and a picture from your iPhone in similar lighting, open them up in Photoshop on your computer, blow them up a little, and then see what you think.
